I am writing to invite you to Our Father’s Table, OFT, Ribbon Cutting and Blessing Ceremony on Saturday, October 29th, 11am – 1pm! Gina, the founder, is absolutely amazing and I personally have been volunteering for the past 3 years!
You may know from this previous post, Our Father’s Table, OFT, is a Christ based, street outreach or what we like to call, a street “reachout” to our homeless brothers and sisters. OFT searches for our brothers and sisters in the alleyways and underpasses to provide them with a lifeline and opportunity to transition to a meaningful and productive life. As their lifeline, we provide unconditional positive regard, gain their trust and empower them to make the right choices to recover and restore meaningful living. The resources available through OFT include creating an individualized assessment and treatment plan utilizing existing homeless providers/services and programs.
OFT has been blessed to lift 98 brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness in the past 24 months.
