Think you can’t afford living in the OC? Think again! Of the 29,000 homes sold in Orange County in 2011, close to 8,000 sold for $300,000 or less, according to recent reports.  While most homes in the most desirable areas in South Orange County are above the $300,000 price range, there are definitely bank-owned properties and other steals to be had!  An experienced real estate agent can help you find your dream Orange County home.

Representing what many, both inside and outside of Orange County, assume to be home-selling prices, over 2,000 homes sold for $1 million or more. Nine of these homes went for $10 million dollars or more. As you can see, as homes are dropping to more realistic prices, Orange County is becoming much more affordable.

You’re probably wondering what was the highest price paid for an Orange County home in the past 12 months… $18 million for a new mansion in Crystal Cove.  With gorgeous ocean views and a list of who’s who as neighbors, we are not surprised.
