As I have mentioned in previous posts, and as many of you Orange Countians know first hands, the Orange County real estate market is still struggling.  While I’m still buying and selling gorgeous South Orange County homes for my satisfied clients, many home sellers are not feeling the same excitement as my clients.  In recent California real estate news, home prices fell 6.2 percent in the year ending in August, making the drop the 7th biggest drop among the states.

Not surprisingly, Nevada fared worst, with Arizona not far behind.  Other struggling state include illinois, Minnesota, Georgia, and New Mexico.  The best state to sell your home in this economy?  West Virginia, Wyoming, North Dakota, New York, or Alaska.

All signs about the national real estate market indicate that we still have an uphill battle ahead of us, but that does not mean that if you are interested in selling your Orange County home that you cannot get the price your home is worth!  I’ve sold dozens of homes in the past year or two alone and my priority is making sure my clients are satisfied with the price they get for their beautiful Orange County home.
