A plan to build nine more homes on a Del Obispo site already slated for 31 has been approved by the Planning Commission.
The City Council will have final say on whether the homes are built. Planning commissioners voted unanimously July 8 to recommend the council approve the project.
Builders broke ground on the 17-acre site at 32881 Del Obispo St. in April.
The homes will range from 3,900 to 5,300 square feet and will be built on 10,000-square-foot lots. Eight homes will include secondary guest homes.
They are expected to open in fall 2014, with prices expected in the mid-$1 millions.
